These are standard selection turbochargers for Charades:

IHI = Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries

The IHI range of VQ referenced models was pretty much exclusive to Daihatsu (just like Mazda is VJ, Subaru is VF, etc.) . The area radius ratio (A/R) is in metric. Divide by 25.4 for imperial equivalent.

Decoding say the VQ17 RHB51W-3400IP12NRBRL338CZ :-

RHB51 is the right hand model frame, version B and the W means it has a water cooled CHRA. "51" is the long specification that generalises the parts.

turbine is 3400IP12NR; 3400I is 34mm inducer tip diameter (major of the turbine) revision 1; P12 is the AR metric housing made of NR= niresist material (nickel iron that resists acids and caustics)

compressor is BRL338CZ; BRL = back rake large, 33.8 is 33.8mm inlet infuser (~ = compressor wheel inducer tip diameter = minor of impellor). Back rake dictates the range and pressure capability. The larger the rake the wider the range and the smaller the pressure ratio capability. .
