Jason's 1.5L CS
Jason's daily ride is a 1996 CS Sport. It came standard with a 1.5Litre engine, 5 speed manual transmission, electric windows, power steering, airconditioning, electric mirrors etc. But this wasn't good enough. He needed more. After all, he was
giving up his EB Falcon for this! (Wow! what a sacrifice! Ed.). So, the first thing to be added was the body kit. Side-skirts, front spoiler addition, rear wing and XR6
bonnet vents. Most of the lower kit is scratched to pieces, and the front spoiler has a small break. This will soon be replaced with a full piece front end and a rear spoiler.

As the body kit was being added, the ROH Vision's (Sadly only 14") where being sprayed in a dark metallic blue. Recently suggested to Jason, was that he have the wheels sand blasted and polished. So that they would become polished alloy. Any suggestions? The car was then sent to Pedders to have the suspension replaced. Lowered 35mm front and rear with stiffened springs and sway bars, Jason found that I couldn't get over speed humps,

through spoon drains or even up my drive way. So, it was back to Pedders to get the front raised slightly. Several months later he had had enough of the little buzz boxes lack of real grunt. So it was off to D&T Performance Centre to have Genie Extractors, Hi-Flow cat, 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust and Super turbo muffler fitted,

along with a nice chrome tip. This makes the world of difference to the cars overall performance and sounds great. As soon as Jason can find the dyno results, (he's in the middle of moving) he'll get them scanned in. The standard stereo has been replaced with a Pioneer DEHP-723, but nothing has been done with the speaker system yet. As for future mods? Well, the first thing to be done is the windows. They really have to be tinted! The front spoiler needs replacing, and the addition of a rear

skirt will make things a little more even. Jason would love to hear from anyone that has any suggestions! He also really wants to add some cool graphics to enhance visual appeal, but hasn't found anything quite right. The only other mod he has planned is some colour coding of the interior.
