HISTORY/BACKGROUND:

Originally a short dirt circuit, it has gone through several changes in the last few years including lights, the track being paved, and finally extended before the 1999 season.

HOW TO GET THERE:

By car:

Turn left at the second set of lights in town as you approach from the east. Turn right then left over the railway line then right again. Continue along through the industrial estate until the road comes to a major intersection where the road narrows down. DON'T go straight ahead, but take the road which is next to it on the left. The turn off for the track is a couple of kilometers down the road on the left. When inside Morgan Park, follow the dirt road around to the left and turn off at the "ticket booth."

By train:

The nearest train station is in the middle of Warick, which is a fair hike to the track.

Best place to park car:

Anywhere you want to, but keep it handy if you want to move to the spectator area or the pits.

WHERE TO STAND:

By popularity:

The spectator area on the western side of the track is the only place you can see the entire track from.

Overtaking:

Try for somewhere near the end of the main straight, where the cars have to slow down to take the right hander.

Fast part:

From the spectator hill you can see the cars work throught the right left kink before the hairpin.

Slow part:

The haripin would be one of the slowest corners anywhere in the world, but the corner coming onto the straight is slow, but you are much closer there than you are at the hairpin.

Grandstand/seating:

The biggest permanant structure for spectating is the control tower, but it only fits 2 people.

ADMISSION COSTS:

Not much or nothing, depending on event.

PIT ACCESS:

Yes, get very close to the action form the pit wall.
